The Cape Agulhas Classic MTB Race is back! Join us on Saturday, December 22nd for a gorgeous ride on the Agulhas beach and local surrounds! A wonderful day out for the whole family, to enjoy some thrilling exercise and some quality family time, you will love our MTB race at the southernmost tip of Africa!

MTB RACE DISTANCES: 72km, 46km, 35km & 10km
ENTRY FEE: 72km R280, 46km R260, 35km R230, 10km R100
STARTING TIME: 72km 07h30, 46km 07h45, 35km 08h00, 10km 08h15
VENUE : NG Church Suidpunt, Struisbaai, Overberg

At either the Friday or Saturday registrations, online and late entrants can pick up their registration packs and complete their registration process.


RACE BRIEFING: 10 mins before the start
PRIZES: Prizes for each category winner & Medals for all participants - No Prize money
No refunds or substitutions.

There will be water points on the routes.
Category prizes as well as great prizes to be won afterwards in the lucky draw!


Enter online at (credit card and EFT payments accepted online). Alternatively you can now walk into Pick & Pay stores and enter at their information counter.

Payments must be received before midnight on Wednesday 19th December 2018 (when pre-entries close), otherwise your entry will be subsequently cancelled.


We will accept late entries at the registrations hall. Please note that a further R50 late entry administration fee will be added to the entry fee. Only cash will be accepted.

Fantastic event. The only time I ever got a podium finish (3rd place for ou ballies). Wish I could make it this year but maybe next year again.

I just wanted to know, I did the 35km in 2016 and was a bit frustrated with the 5-8km  of thick sand that was not ride-able. Is the 46km/72km on the same route? If not, how bad is the sand section? thanks

The sand is ridable, never had issues with it.
