Two World Championship titles XCO and XCM, a Cross-Country European Championship, Marathon World Championship silver medal, U23 World Cup overall classification win, countless XCO and short track race wins: 2019 was an unbelievable year for our pro riders Pauline Ferrand-Prévot, Ronja Eibl, Kristian Hynek, and Mathieu van der Poel. The secret to their speed? The Lux and Exceed cross-country race bikes. And from 10 October, the latest 2020 models will be available on canyon.com.

The Lux CF was an all-new release in 2019 – and the 2020 models are fitted with refreshed components for better-than-ever performance. The Lux CF SL bikes still come with 110 mm of front travel with many models featuring a range of new parts, such as Shimano’s new 12-speed XT group, and the new RockShox SID Select fork. With 100 mm of front and rear travel, the Lux CF SLX models are pure racing machines. The 9.0 Team is a true standout bike, ready to race in the livery of Mathieu van der Poel’s Corendon-Circus team. And in terms of tech, the Lux CF SLX 9.0 Race Ltd. leads the way with its state-of-the-art SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS groupset. The 2020 Lux CF range features seven models, including a women’s-specific WMN version, and a frameset. Pricing: €2,899-€6,999*, weight from 10.1 kg.

With Reynolds carbon wheels at a price point of only €2,699*, the Exceed CF SL 7.0 is testament to Canyon’s self-stated aim – to democratise performance. The top model in the 2020 range is the Exceed CF SLX 9.0 Race Ltd., with SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS electronic shifting. Pricing: €1,699-5,999*, weight from 8.9 kg.

Comes with a Quarq PM though so deduct +-R15k and you pretty close...

With these prices their entire model of cutting out middle man to give you an affordable high spec bike flies out the window. All the added taxes just kills the deal

The Lux 7 is R52k at R15.25 /$ on a straight conversion . If you shopped in the EU, looked for bikes on sale and got a friend to bring it over, you'd get a bargain. We are royally fooked over in SA.
