We were watching the XCO World Cup at Coetzenburg and chained both our bikes to a steel balustrade, during the race we happen to walk past our bikes to watch the finish of the women"™s race when I noticed that only my bike was still there, unlocked with the cable gone and also the Scott gone. My bike was left unlocked, just standing there and I suspect whoever took the Scott was about to return to get mine. We called in security and they tried their best to try find it but no luck.
The worst is that we are due to ride the Cape Epic on these bikes in a week, so we hope to find a Small Scott Spark Contessa to get setup for Jess.
